2023 VHSL Class 4 State Meet Record Breaking Swims

VHSL Class 4 State Meet – February 18th, 2023

Brendan had a phemomenal VHSL meet his Senior Year.

Besides rewriting the 100 Free Overall Class Record (and battling out the 50 free with Thomas Heilman, a National Age Group Record Holder from Western Albemarle,) Brendan was instrumental in helping Jefferson Forest demolish both the Class 4 and Overall State VHSL Records in the 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle Relays.

VHSL Class 4 Relays

Whitfield anchored the 200 freestyle relay with a massive personal best relay split of 19.14.

His teammates, Jack Mills, Ryan Frasier and Max Schoenfelder also split lifetime (or close to them) personal bests to combine for this incredible Overall VHSL State Record breaking swim.

He likewise anchored the 400 Freestyle relay with another personal relay split best of 42.68. His fellow teammates, Jack Mills, Owen Widzisz, and Max Schoenfelder also swam personal bests (or close to them) in this relay to bring home the Gold and another broken VHSL Overall State Record.
